Hunter Automatics FA-8 Automatic Door operator is used
for high traffic, commercial applications. The operator
can be interfaced with all activation devices by supplying
a 24 Volt power supply and a trigger for activation signals.
The control has a built in lock-out relay for safety sensors.
Both overhead and door mounted safety sensors can be interfaced
to the FA-8 control through two separate inputs.
The
Hunter Automatics FA-8 operator has several characteristics
that ensure its reliability and longevity. The operator
housing is cast aluminum and includes a heavy-duty spring
assembly to provide the appropriate opening and closing
force. The motor is a 1/7 HP that provides substantial
torque for any type of application. The aluminum Header
is a slim 4 ½" wide design making concealed
application visually appealing. Surface applied applications
can be mounted on either side of a door frame providing
flexibility in any situation.
The
control has several adjustments including, opening speed,
2-20 second activation time delay, backcheck speed,
closing speed, latching speed, and hold time (decreases
strain on motor during hold open). Three stock finishes
are available, clear anodized, dark bronze and light
bronze, other anodized and painted finishes are available
upon request.
